Terrestrial, twining herb. Stems slender, terete, glabrous. Leaf patent, coriaceous, glabrous, ovate, 0.4-1.2 by 0.2-0.5 cm, unequally 2-lobed and obtuse, mid-rib grooved above, prominent below, with 3 lateral nerves on either side but these visible on underside only, margin revolute, irregularly finely crenulate; sheaths warty mainly on the ribs, tubular, 0.2-1.5 cm long, ribbed, apical margin with 0.1-0.25 cm long bristles, each finely papillate. Spathe scattered warty mainly on outside along nerves, widely ellipsoid-tubular, 1.1 by 1.5 cm, obtuse and retuse at tip, nerved, all nerves slightly crested on outside but mid-rib stronger so. Floral bract similar to spathe, 1.5 by 0.35 cm, acute. Ovary glabrous, oblong, 1.5 by 0.15 cm, 3-ribbed. Median sepal glabrous, oblong-ovate or ovate-lanceolate, 1.5 by 0.45 cm, acute, conoid-apiculate, 3-nerved at base, 8-nerved in higher parts. Lateral sepals glabrous, free, obliquely lanceolate-oblong, 1.4 by 0.35 cm, acute, basis 3-nerved, higher parts 5-nerved, at base falcate-oblong dilated. Petals glabrous, elliptic-oblong 1.5 by 0.35 cm, acute, 3-nerved at base, 6-nerved in higher parts. Lip adnate to base of column, free part ovate, 0.6 by 0.45 cm, acute, 7-nerved, finely papillate on either side; spur glabrous, cylindrical, 1.5 cm long, 2-lobed at tip, grooved above. Column narrowly obovoid, 0.4 by 0.2 cm, clinandrium crenulate. Anther not seen. Capsule not seen.
