Epiphytic, erect; roots flexuose, glabrous. Stem to 8 cm long, densely leafy, covered with the substriate leaf-sheaths, c. 0.4 cm diam. Leaves patent, ligulate, unequally and obtusely bilobulate, somewhat fleshy, 7-13 cm long, 0.8-1.6 cm wide. Inflorescence erect, sometimes with one or two branches, as long as or longer than the leaves, laxly 10-20-flowered. Floral bracts deltoid, acute, ovary much shorter. Flowers erect-patent. Sepals oblong, obtuse, somewhat narrowed towards the base, glabrous, 0.5 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique. Petals obliquely oblong-ligulate, apiculate, a little shorter than the sepals. Lip in outline almost square-cuneate, 3-lobed, shorter than the petals; lateral lobes obliquely square, apical corner acutely drawn-out; mid-lobe triangular, subacute, hardly longer than the lateral lobes; spur almost square-globose, dorsally flattened, inside dorsally with an oblong bilobulate appendage, apically (inside) densely puberulous, with two puberulous swellings in front of the mouth. Column glabrous, short, thick. Anther reniform-cucullate, glabrous; pollinia obliquely globose; stipe linear, at base and apex somewhat narrowed; viscidium minute, semioblong. Flowers greenish with brown spots, lip white, anther yellow.
Epiphyte in lower montane forest; 800 to 1200 m.
