Epiphytic ascending, 10-18 cm long. Rhizome stem-like; roots short, flexuose, finely villose. Stem terete, glabrous, 6- to 8-leaved. Leaves erect-patent, petiolate, elliptic or lanceolate-elliptic, acute, glabrous, 2.2-3.7 cm long, at or below the middle 1-1.2 cm wide; petiole dilated at the base, sheathing, 1.5-2 cm long. Peduncle with a few small, bract-like sheaths, puberulous; rachis rather laxly 4- to 7-flowered, erect, up to 4 cm long. Floral bracts lanceolate, acuminate, ciliate, almost as long as the ovary. Flowers erect-patent. Median sepal oblong-lanceolate, narrowed at the apex, obtuse, rather thick, slightly verruculose, glabrous, 0.5 cm long. Lateral sepals obliquely oblong, glabrous, narrowed at the apex, obtuse, rather thick, slightly verruculose, a little longer than the median sepal. Petals at the base very shortly clawed, obliquely oblong, obtuse, the posterior margin below the apex auriculate-incurved, the front margin at the base lobulate-rounded, glabrous, a little shorter than the median sepal. Lip ovate, very indistinctly 3-lobed, margins at the base erect, at the apex somewhat decurved; apex obtuse; glabrous, almost as long as the petals; spur oblongoid-saccate, obtuse, slightly more than half as long as the ovary. Column rather thick, the arms divergent, forming a V-shape, almost as long as the short rostellum. Anther subreniform, apiculate, glabrous. Ovary cylindrical, minutely puberulous, 1 cm long. Vegetative parts olive-green. Flowers yellowish, spur tinged brownish in front.

Epiphyte on tree trunks in lower montane forest; 1600 to 2000 m.
