Epiphytic, slender, 17-22 cm high. Rhizome elongated, branched; roots filiform, elongated, flexuose, glabrous. Pseudobulbs often 1.5-2 cm apart, slender, stem-like, laterally compressed, somewhat swollen at the base, 1-leaved, 3-4.5 cm long, at the base 0.4-0.6 cm diam. Leaves erect or suberect, linear, acute, somewhat narrowed towards the base, glabrous, 15-25 cm long, near the middle 0.5-0.7 cm wide. Inflorescence erect, slender, ancipitous, without peduncle-scales, glabrous, often a little longer than the leaf; rachis distichous, densely many-flowered, up to 4 cm long. Floral bracts overlapping, two-ranked, ovate-lanceolate, apiculate, ancipitous-conduplicate, hardly more than half as long as the ovary. Flowers erect-patent, glabrous. Sepals reflexed, oblong, apiculate, 0.5 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique. Petals erect, obliquely linear, acute, in apical half slightly dilated, somewhat shorter than the sepals. Lip at the base oblong, as long as the petals, above the base 0.25 cm wide, geniculate-decurved, above the middle distinctly narrowed and produced in an oblong-quadrate, apiculate lobe, glabrous, at the base with a large quadrate callus, in front of this with a double callus which is half as large. Column hardly more than a third as long as the petals, conspicuously dilated in basal half, somewhat contracted at the apex. Anther rhombic-suborbicular, obtuse, glabrous.
