Synonyms:
Roots elongated, woolly hairy. Leaves linear, acuminate, towards the base long narrowed, 19 by 1 cm, papyraceous, with 3 raised nerves. Inflorescence shorter than the leaves, 15-18 cm long, peduncle with 5-6 linear, acuminate 1 cm long, very narrow scales; rachis abbreviated, many-flowered. Flowers small. Floral bracts lanceolate, long acuminate, 0.5-0.8 cm long. median sepal oblong-linear, 0.5 by 0.1 cm. Lateral sepals broader, oblong, obtuse, 3-nerved, almost 0.2 cm wide. Petals linear-filiform, longer and narrower than the sepals. Lip with a short claw; blade 0.5 cm long and wide, entire, fan-shaped, rounded, with indistinctly denticulate margins, callus horseshoe-shaped, towards the fleshy base of the blade decurrent in two rather thick median nerves; lateral veins swollen, branched. Column short, rather thick, 0.3 cm long; apical wings short, oblong, truncate. Anther ovate, shortly obtusely rostrate. Pedicel and ovary slender, 1 cm long. Fruit erect, oblanceolate, narrowed at the base, 1.5 cm long, pedicel 2 cm long. (After Ridley, 1916)
