Plant 8—20(—33) cm high. Rhizome short. Leafy stem fusiform, covered by leaf petioles and sheaths, 0.8—5 by 0.1—0.28 cm. Leaves (3—)5—9; petiole erect, (0.4—)0.7—1.2 by 0.2—0.6 cm wide when spread; leaf sheath (0.5—)0.7—1 by (0.18—)0.2—0.6(—0.8) cm diam; leaf blade obliquely ovate or ovate-lanceolate, attenuate, (2—)2.8—3.5(5.2) by 1.4— 2(—2.8) cm; apex acute or acuminate; margins sometimes undulate; 3—5-nerved. Inflorescence rather densely 10—70-flowered, 7—15 by elongating with age up to 25(—32) cm long; raceme 5—10 cm long when young, 17—23 cm long when fruiting. Sterile bracts usually 1(—3), recurved, lanceolate, attenuate, 0.5—1 by 0.08—0.15 cm; apex acuminate; 1-nerved. Floral bracts reflexed lanceolate, attenuate, 0.25—0.43 by 0.05—0.08 cm; apex acute; 1-nerved. Pedicel 0.15—0.23 by 0.03—0.04 cm; ovary 0.1—0.15(—017) by 0.05—0.07 cm; sinuate. Flower 0.5—06 by 0.3—0.35 cm wide. Median sepal ovate to oblong-ovate, 0.3—0.3.5 by 0.16—0.2 cm; apex obtuse. Lateral sepals oblique, broadly elliptic, 0.22—0.25 by 0.15—0.18 cm; apex obtuse. Petals oblique, linear, 0.28—0.35 by c. 0.05 cm; apex obtuse. Lip sagittate in outline, widest about base, 0.38—0.4 by 0.17—0.2.5 cm; lamina c. 0.2 by distal margin semiorbicular with apiculate top, lamellae simple, parallel, vanishing near apex of lamina, 0.12—0.15 by 0.02—0.03 cm high, 0.01—0.015 cm thick; auricles elongate, oblique oblanceolate, gently sinuate, 0.17—0.2 by 0.08—0.11 cm; apices obtuse to subacute, nearly touching. Column short, erect, very minutely papillose, c. 0.1 by 0.04 (base)—0.7 mm, recurved at c. ⅔ of its length; dorsal side with a large, semiorbicular convexity; appendage erect, acute, attenuate, 0.02—0.03 by 0.02—0.03 cm wide base, c. 0.01 cm wide at distal portion; staminodes erect, deflexed back, 0.1—0.12 by 0.04—0.05 cm broad, 0.01—0.02 cm thick, with obliquely contracted apex. Anther c. 0.04 cm long and wide. Fruit oblong-obovate, 0.6—1 by 0.025—0.04 cm.

Leaf sheath green; blade above green, below paler green. Pedicel and ovary, green to greenish-yellow. Flower greenish-yellow, sometimes with flesh tinge and with darker nerves; lip olive to yellow-orange, lamellae darker. Column olive-green; staminodes blue; rostellum dark coloured. Anther pale-greenish and bluish. Fruit green to greenish-fawn.

Epiphytic on tree-trunks in the forest; sometimes terrestrial in rubber plantation on humus covered by leaf litter. Altitude 450—600 m.
