Synonyms:
Epiphytic, erect or spreading, up to 23 cm long. Rhizome very short; roots filiform, elongated, flexuose, glabrous. Stems flexuose, densely 8-14-leaved, entirely hidden by the leaf-bases. Leaves erect-patent, falcate-lanceolate, acute, glabrous, free part 2.5-5 cm long, at the base 0.4-0.7 cm wide. Inflorescence carrying flowers up to the base, densely many-flowered, rachis papillose-puberulous. Flowers patent, very small. Floral bracts lanceolate, acuminate, with subdentate margins, outside papillose-puberulous, usually somewhat longer than the ovary. Median sepal ovate-oblong, subacute, glabrous, 0.08 cm long. lateral sepals broadly and obliquely ovate, subobtuse, glabrous, as long as the median sepal. Petals obliquely lanceolate, subacute, glabrous, a little shorter than the sepals. Lip at the base cordate-auriculate, 0.1 cm long, with subtriangular-falcate, obtuse auricles, somewhat narrowed below the middle and expanded into a subquadrate blade, somewhat dilated towards the apex, apex retuse with a minute apiculum when flattened. Column very short, rather thick, glabrous. Anther subreniform, obtusely apiculate, glabrous. Ovary clavate, subvillose-papillose, 0.15 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1911-1914)
Flowers yellowish green.
Epiphyte in lower montane forest; 1300 m.
Malesia (New Guinea, endemic).
