Epiphytic, spreading or pendent, several-stemmed, 25-35 cm long. Rhizome very short; roots filiform, elongated, flexuose, glabrous. Stems elongated, flexuose, many-leaved up to the apex. Leaves erect-patent, free part falcate to obliquely oblong, obtuse, sometimes dilated at the base, up to 1.5 cm long, at the base 0.4-0.5 cm wide. Inflorescence carrying flowers to above the base, usually incurved, cylindrical, elongated, densely many-flowered, up to 13 cm long, 0.3 cm diam. across the flowers, apical part usually sterile, barren. Floral bracts lanceolate, acuminate, margins irregular, glabrous, about as long as the ovary. Flowers minute, patent, not resupinated, glabrous. Sepals broadly oblong, obtuse, hardly more than 0.05 cm long. Petals obliquely ligulate, obtuse, glabrous, as long as the sepals. Lip at the base long-auriculate, constricted above the middle, upwards dilated and expanded into a broadly subreniform-obcordate blade, 0.075 cm long, above the middle 0.075 cm wide, margins in apical half denticulate; basal pit orbicular, surrounded by keeled-thickened margins; auricles falcate-oblong, obtuse, inner margins keeled-thickened, 0.04 cm long. Column very short, rather thick. Anther subreniform-cucullate, obtuse. Ovary with pedicel cylindrical, glabrous, almost 0.15 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1911-1914)
