Type: Kloss s.n. (Canoe Camp, 150 ft.) (holo BM)

Stems leafy throughout, 15 cm long. Leaves overlapping, erect, ensiform, curved, acute, 1.5 by 0.4 cm. Inflorescence very slender, 7 cm long, carrying flowers throughout its length, the flowers arranged in whorls of 7-8 that are 0.2 cm apart. Floral bracts minute. Sepals ovate, subacute. Petals ovate. Lip subquadrangular, long, with two short tails at the apical corners. Column very short. Anther skull-shaped. (After Ridley, 1916)
