Synonyms:
Plant up to 41 cm tall, single-stemmed. Rhizome 0.4—0.55 cm diam., with loose node scales. Leafy stem erect, fusiform, completely covered by leaf petioles and sheaths, c. 6.8 by 0.5—0.7 cm. Leaves 6; petiole 1.8—3.3 by 0.5—0.8 cm when spread; leaf sheath 1.5—2.8 by 0.6—0.9 cm; leaf blade oblique, ovate to oblong-ovate, attenuate, 9.2—13.3 by 3.2—4.9 cm, with acuminate apex, 3—5-nerved. Inflorescence elongating with age, c. 34.5 cm long; peduncle c. 17.3 cm long; raceme c. 150-flowered, c. 17.2 cm tall, with fairly dense flowers its lower part, above denser so. Sterile bracts few, reflexed, narrowly lanceolate, distinctly attenuate, 0.1—0.14 by 0.26—0.32 cm; apex acuminate; 3-nerved, main nerve thicker and more distinct. Floral bracts reflexed, linear to narrowly lanceolate, attenuate, 0.35—0.55 by 0.08—0.13(0.16) cm; apex acuminate; 3-nerved, main nerve thicker and more distinct. Pedicel 0.35—0.5 by 0.03—0.04(—0.05) cm; ovary 0.3—0.5 by 0.05—0.12 cm. Flowers 0.48—0.56 cm. Median sepal oblong-ovate, 0.32—0.35 by 0.15—0.2 cm; base slightly obcordate; apex apiculate. Lateral sepals obliquely ovate, 0.28—0.3 by 0.18—0.22 cm; base obcordate; apex apiculate; margins sometimes wavy. Petals slightly falcate, oblanceolate, straight attenuate, 0.32— 0.34 by 0.08—0.09 cm; base rather long cuneate; apex acute. Lip in general outline about orbicular; mid-lobe flat, about semi-orbicular, 0.7—0.9 mm long, 0.8—1 mm base; top rounded and slightly concave; margins reflexed and plicate; lateral lobes subparallel, falcate, nearly triangular, 0.12—0.15 by 0.1—0.13 cm; apex obtuse. Gynostemium erect, 0.2—0.22 by 0.1—0.15 cm; about halfway with a large, flat, falcate, downwards curved appendage 0.07—0.08 by 0.04—0.06 cm; staminodes shorter than the anther, rectangular, (0.05—) 0.06—0.07 by c. 0.03 cm, with truncate apex, slightly folded back from the anther. Anther c. 0.05 cm long and; top with two small tips at distal margin. Fruit oblong-obovate, 0.8—1.1 by 0.4—0.6 cm.

Leaf sheath green tinged fawn; blade medium green, paler below. Pedicel and ovary green to greenish-yellow.Flower yellow. Column tinged greenish in apical half. Anther pale yellow to pale green. Fruit fawn to yellowish.

Terrestrial in primary forest, on clayey soil with layers of humus and leaf litter. Altitude 40 m.
Malesia (New Guinea, endemic).
Warm growing terrestrial, keep in shaded position.

Crepidium gregorii is characterised by the shape of lip which lacks distinct lamellar and by the shape of the gynostemium.
