Epiphyte, small, 4-7 cm high. Roots filiform, glabrous. Stem terete, densely leafy, tightly covered with the rugulose leaf-sheaths. Leaves patent, somewhat falcate-curved, linear-ligulate, carnose, 2-3 cm long, in the middle 0.4-0.5 cm wide; apex unequally and acutely bilobulate; below keeled. Inflorescences very short, sessile, 1-flowered, at the base covered with suborbicular, apiculate peduncle-scales; bracts similar to the peduncle-scales, somewhat longer than the ovary. Sepals ovate-lanceolate, acute, glabrous, 0.4 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique. Petals obliquely ligulate, shortly acuminate, 0.33 cm long. Lip suborbicular-obovate, 0.43 cm long, above the middle 0.35 cm wide, apiculate, at the base with an oblong, papillose callus. Column short, glabrous, 0.2 cm high, ovary sessile cylindrical, glabrous, 0.2 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1911-1914)
