Roots elongated, filiform, shortly villose. Stems not or sparsely branching, terete, 40-50 cm long, many-leaved. Leaves oblong to oblong-ligulate, 2-2.8 by 0.5-0.9 cm, apex bilobulate, mid-vein terminating in a bristle-like point. Inflorescence terminal, racemose, 4 cm long, rather laxely several-flowered. Floral bracts distichous, foliaceous, ovate, somewhat compressed, almost as long as the flowers, apex aristate. Flowers c. 1 cm long. Dorsal sepal ovate-lanceolate, 0.7 cm long, apex acuminate. Lateral sepals falcate, apex acuminate; mentum 0.5 mm wide, broadly obtuse. Petals lanceolate-ligulate, slightly oblique, 0.5 cm long, apex acute. Lip rectangular-oblong, 0.7 by 0.4 cm, thickened at the base, on either side near basal margin auriculate-lobulate, slightly constricted in the middle, somewhat swollen along the median, apical part ovate, with two thickened spots, apex narrowly obtuse. Rostellum elongated, deeply bifid. Anther cordate, with an oblong dorsal swelling, apex subrostrate, shallowly incised; caudicle single, slender, concave. Viscidium oblong-lanceolate, base emarginate, apex acute.

Sepals and petals green, mentum white, lip white with yellow callosities.
Terretsrial in open places in montane forest.. Altitude 1600 m.
Malesia (New Guinea, endemic).
Cool-intermediate growing terrestrial, prefers light shade.
