Stems several, tufted, c. 15 cm high, erect. Leaves elliptic-oblong, emarginate, with a minute, acute mucro, 1.3 by 0.63 cm; leaf-sheaths 0.63 cm long, widened. Inflorescence terminal, nodding, dense. Floral bracts tightly closely spaced, 2-ranked, distichous, lanceolate, cuspidate, 0.42 cm long. Flowers minute, thin-textured. Sepals ovate cuspidate, lateral sepals with deflexed apices. Petals narrower, linear, obtuse. Lip oblong, obcuneate, as long as the sepals, base narrowed, with two calli with a small channel in between, at the apex almost 3-lobed, obtuse, the sides thin-textured, disc thickened, somewhat carnose. Spur very short, obtuse. Column short, clinandrium shallow. Rostellum bifid, the lobes acute, straight. Stigma ovate, triangular. Anther obtuse, broad. Pollinia long pear-shaped, acute, attenuate, stipes thin, elongated, triangular; viscidium elliptic, very small. Fruit 0.42 cm long, elliptic-oblong. (After Ridley, 1886).
