Synonyms:
Differs from the typical form in the spathulate petals, the spathulate-elliptic lip without appendage, and the footless column with a conical swelling in front of the stigma. (After Schlechter, 1911-1914)

Epiphyte in lowland forest in shaded positions. Altitude 300 m.
