Synonyms:
Stems elongated, unbranched, 50-60 cm long, leaved, internodes 0.7-1.5 cm long, the upper ones shorter. Leaves rather widely patent, oblong to lanceolate, obtuse, somewhat unequally obtuse, bilobulate, mucronate, mucro shorter than the lobules, at the base half-clasping the stem, mid-rib when dried dorsally prominent and papyraceous, 3.7-6.2 by 1.4-1.9 cm; sheaths tubular, as long as the internodes or longer. Inflorescences lateral, puncturing 1 or 2 sheaths, at the base fasciculate-branched, erect or erect-patent, much shorter than the leaves, densely many-flowered, subsessile, to 1.7 cm long, branches successive. Floral bracts turned to all sides, reflexed, oblong-triangular, obtuse, strongly concave, 1-nerved, 0.23 by 0.13 cm. Median sepal ovate, obtuse, concave, 3-nerved, 0.28 cm long. Lateral sepals with an obliquely oblong lobule decurrent on the column-foot, along the front margins at the base connate, triangular, subobtuse, concave, 3-nerved, 0.28 cm long, at the base 0.33 cm wide; mentum oblong, obtuse, making an acute angle with the ovary, straight, 0.13 cm long. Petals obliquely oblong, at the apex obliquely narrowed, obtuse, 1-nerved, 0.25 by 0.1 cm. Lip at the base for 0.16 cm adnate to the column-foot, concave, 3-nerved, with an ovate-triangular, obtuse, concave basal appendage, which is on either side shortly decurrent on the blade below the margin, at the apex with a minute callus, when flattened 0.44 cm long, blade broadly triangular-ovate, obtuse, 0.24 by 0.27 cm wide. Column making an obtuse angle with the ovary, to the apex of the rostellum 0.18 cm long; clinandrium concave. Anther cucullate, cordate, 0.1 cm long, at the base bilobulate and gibbose, acute, with the margin on either side well below the apex prolonged in a tooth. Rostellum triangular, acute, bidentate, concave. Stigma deeply concave. Column-foot making an almost straight angle with the ovary, straight, 0.2 cm long. Ovary straight, 6-grooved, 0.33 cm long. Fruit (immature) triangular, 6-ribbed.
