Type: Werner 51 (holo B, lost)
Synonyms:
Never formally described. According to Schlechter, 1911-1914: 382, closely related to Calanthe torricellensis but with larger flowers with a longer and more slender spur.
Leaves with dense yellow spots. Flower yellowish.
Terrestrial in lower montane forest. Altitude 800-1100 m.
Malesia (New Guinea, endemic).
