Synonyms:

Epiphytic, erect, slender, tufted, 25-35 cm high. Rhizome very short. Stems very slender, filiform, 11-28 cm long, hardly 0.1 cm across, erect, 1-leaved, at the base with a few acuminate yellowish brown sheaths. Leaves erect, filiform, 3.5-6 cm long, slightly thinner than the stems, acute, above slightly grooved, much shorter than the stems. Floral head sessile, elliptic, 0.5 cm across, surrounded by a few ovate, acuminate scales, inflorescences subsessile, 1-flowered. Floral bract elliptic, apiculate, soon becoming hyaline, almost as long as the ovary. Sepals elliptic, 0.2 cm long, obtuse, outside at the base finely pilose, towards the apex glabrous, lateral sepals at the base in front along the margin elongated and connate; mentum obliquely elliptic, shorter than the sepals. Petals obliquely ovate-oblong, obliquely acuminate, glabrous, almost as long as the sepals. Lip at the base subunguiculate-contracted, elliptic-rhombic, 0.3 cm long, in apical third not very distinctly 3-lobed, lateral lobes short, broadly obtuse, mid-lobe at the apex thickened, obtuse, oblong, lip with two thin, parallel, minutely finely ciliate keels extending from the base of the lip to the middle. Column short, stigma-arms subquadrate, almost reaching the middle of the lip, foot average. Ovary clavate very shortly pedicellate, white-pilose, 0.25 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1922).
