Epiphytic, caespitose, about 15 cm high. Rhizome very short. Roots filiform, elongated, flexuose, shortly villose. Stems slender, terete, 1-leaved, at the base covered with acuminate sheaths, 8-11 cm long, 1.5-2 mm across. Leaves erect, filiform-subulate, acute, adaxially slightly sulcate, terete, 5-6 cm long. Inflorescences several arranged into a terminal capitulum, covered with elliptic, acute scales. Bracts minute, ovate, acute. Flowers erect-patent. Sepals oblong, obtuse, outside sparsly puberulous, 0.4 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique, at the base extended and connate along the anterior margin; mentum sac-like, short, oblong, about 0.2 cm long. Petals linear-lanceolate, acuminate, glabrous, a little shorter than the sepals. Lip narrowed in basal part, ligulate-oblong, obtuse, apex carnose-thickened, 0.6 cm long, at the base with slightly incurved margins, with two ciliolate lamellae from above the base decurrent to basal third. Column short, arms quadrate, less than half as long as the lip; foot short. Anther subglobose, glabrous, apex minutely notched. Ovary subsessile, puberulous, 3.5 mm long.
