Epiphyte, erect or patent, slender, up to 40 cm long; rhizome short; roots filiform, elongated, flexuose, glabrous, stems branched, slender, laxly leafy, entirely covered by the leaf-sheaths; leaves subulate-acicular, acute, terete, glabrous, 2.5-6 cm long, 0.1 cm diameter; sheaths closely appressed, nerves somewhat raised striate, apical margins fimbriate-ciliate with few setae. Flowers solitary, glabrous. Spathe broadly elliptic, apiculate, cucullate-clasping. Floral bract similar to but smaller than the spathe, hyaline. Sepals oblong, apiculate, 0.5cm long. Lateral sepals oblique, at the base dilated along the front margins. Petals obliquely obovate-oblong, apex broadly obtuse, retuse, as long as the sepals. Lip subquadrate-concave, in front broadly obtuse, subtruncate, 0.25 cm long, spur broadly oblongoid; broadly obtuse, 0.25 cm long, 0.2 cm wide. Column short, less than half as long as the lip, glabrous, clinandrium rounded, unequally crenulate, anther subquadrate-cucullate, obtusely umbonate, glabrous, in front ascending, ovary cylindrical, glabrous, 0.5 cm long.

Flower whitish flesh-colour, lip apex yellowish.

Epiphyte in montane forest. Altitude 700 m.
