Type: Janowsky 367 (holo BO)

Stems elongated, much branched, in cross-section elliptic, rooting, 50 cm long, branches patent or widely patent, internodes at the base slightly attenuate, to 1.9 cm long, to 0.2 cm wide, upper ones smaller. Leaves patent, half-twisted at the base, lanceolate-linear, carnose, 2.75-5.75 by 0.5-0.75 cm, gradually narrowed towards the apex, strongly unequally acutely bidentate, very shortly contracted at the base, margins irregular, especially in the apical part irregularly crenulate, above on either side of the longitudinal groove convex, underneath almost flat; sheaths tubular, longer than the internodes, strongly transversely warty, at the apex opposite the blade with a rather large, triangular, obtuse, warty tooth. Inflorescence capitate, very small, densely c. 6-flowered, 1.4 cm diam. Outer spathe rather large, shorter than the flowers, broadly ovate-triangular, in the apical part with incurved margins, subulate-acuminate, strongly concave, c. 9-nerved, membranous, 1.l cm long, 1.3 cm wide. Floral bracts broadly ovate-triangular, shortly acute, apiculate, concave, 5-nerved, thinly membranous, to 0.9 cm long, 1 cm wide. Flowers in total 1.1 cm long. Sepals and petals in the basal part parallel, divergent. Median sepal at the base very shortly adnate to the lateral sepals, lanceolate, subacute, somewhat concave, 3-nerved, slightly over 1 cm long, 0.33 cm wide. Lateral sepals in front up to the middle connate, clasping the spur of the lip, obliquely oblong, slightly falcate, narrowed towards the apex, narrowly obtuse, with the apical margin incurved, subulate-apiculate, above the base 5-nerved, in total 1.1 cm long, 0.4 cm wide, free part 0.5 cm long; mentum short, saccate, pointing backwards, appressed to the and distinctly shorter than the ovary, seen from the front subquadrangular, dorsally compressed, in front convex, dorsally hollowed out, truncate, slightly retuse, 0.17 cm long. Petals oblong-ligulate, obtuse, somewhat concave, 3-nerved, 0.93 cm by 0.28 cm. Lip shortly adnate to the column, spurred, in total 0.48 cm., to the apex of the ovary 0.4 cm long; blade porrect, in the basal part concave, above recurved and convex, 5-angular-obovate, broadly obtuse, in the basal part slightly contracted, above with a small, inconspicuous, longitudinal rib, at the base abruptly transversely thickened, somewhat carnose, 7-nerved, 0.3 cm long, at the apex 0.27 cm wide; spur appressed to the ovary, making an obtuse angle with the blade, slightly recurved, in front convex, dorsally somewhat concave, oblong-subcylindrical, broadly obtuse, dorsally to the apex of the ovary 0.2 cm long, in front to the base of the blade 0.3 cm long. Column in the basal part dorsally obtusely angled convex, slightly over 0.2 cm long, at the apex triangular, obtuse, sparsely denticulate; clinandrium large, hollowed out; auricles obliquely triangular, obtuse, with the upper margin denticulate, a little shorter than the apex. Anther cucullate, orbicular, 0.13 cm wide, rounded at the apex, with hyaline and not recurved margins, connective conical-gibbose. Pollinia 4, pear-shaped, outside convex, inside flat with a longitudinal concavity. Rostellum porrect, broadly retuse, rounded-bilobulate, together with the stigma 2-lipped. Stigma transversely elliptic-cup-shaped, with margin the lower extended and incurved. Ovary sessile, 6-grooved, slightly over 0.3 cm long.
