Stems elongated, pendulous, apices ascending, laxly leafy, branches patent, internodes to 1.9 cm long. Leaves patent, sublinear, when spread 8 by 0.6 cm, gradually narrowed towards the apex, strongly obliquely narrowly obtuse, slightly bidentate, with irregular margins, longitudinally grooved above, carnose-coriaceous; sheaths tubular, longer than the internodes, warty except at the base, opposite the blade with an appressed, obtuse, triangular, warty tooth. Inflorescence capitate, nodding, many-flowered, when dried 1.8 cm diam., rachis 0.6 cm long (when dried). Spathe orbicular-ovate, abruptly long acuminate, concave, 1.5 cm long. Floral bracts ovate, gradually narrowed towards the apex, acute, concave, c. 3-nerved, membranous, to 1.4 cm long, 0.7 cm wide. Flowers 0.9 cm long. Sepals parallel, at the apex recurved. Median sepal oblong, subobovate, 0.8 by 0.36 cm, obtuse, apiculate, concave, at the base 3-nerved. Lateral sepals in front connate for 4/5 of their length, obliquely oblong, at the apex shortly narrowed and acuminate with a subulate, recurved apiculum, concave, at the base 3-nerved, 0.8 cm long, the whole synsepal 0.6 cm wide; mentum very short, pointing backwards, appressed to the ovary, obtusely bilobulate. Petals obliquely oblong, at the apex slightly contracted, obtuse, 3-nerved, 0.8 cm long, slightly more than 0.3 cm wide. Lip at the base very shortly adnate to the column, spurred, in total 0.4 cm long, to the apex of the ovary 0.33 cm long; blade porrect, broadly elliptic-oblong, slightly contracted at the base, broadly obtuse, at the base with a thickened cross-ridge, to the cross-ridge 0.26 cm long, 0.2 cm. wide; spur saccate, making an acute angle with the ovary and an obtuse angle with the blade, elliptic, rounded, 0.2 cm long. Column dorsally convex, 0.18 cm long, at the apex broad, triangular, obtuse, as long as the triangular, acute auricles. Anther cucullate, suborbicular, at the base bilobed, at the apex with a broad hyaline margin, retuse and slightly recurved, dorsally gibbose, 0.1 cm long. Rostellum truncate-semi-orbicular. Stigma with the lower margin extended, rounded, concave. Ovary 6-grooved, 0.55 cm long.
