Synonyms:

Roots elongated, flexuose, glabrous. Stems pendulous, not or sparsely branching, to 65 cm long, many-leaved. Leaf sheaths rugulose. Leaves (sub)patent, oblong-lanceolate, 3.5-5 by 1-1.3 cm, coriaceous, base cordate, clasping the stem, apex unequally bilobate. Inflorescences capitate, 4-4.5 cm wide, with 2-4 involucral bracts, densely many-flowered, the flowers at their base enveloped in a slimy secretion. Floral bracts lanceolate, about as long as the ovary, apex acute. Flowers c. 1.5 cm long. Dorsal sepal oblong, 1.1 cm long, apex obtuse. Lateral sepals oblique, 1.1 cm long, cohering to just below the apex, apex obtuse. Petals narrowly obliquely oblong-ligulate, a little shorter and distinctly narrower than the sepals, apex obtuse. Lip oblong, concave, 0.5 cm long, spurred, apex broadly obtuse; spur saccate, a little shorter than the lip, broadly obtuse. Column erect, short, stigma large; column-foot short. Anther broadly cordate, in front subtruncate. Pollinia obliquely pyriform.
