Rhizome short. Stems crowded, rigid, flexuose, leafy throughout, 70-80 cm long. Leaves ovate-oblong to oblong, 2.5-6.5 by 1.5-2.5 cm, thick coriaceous, folded, apex obtuse, minutely bilobulate. Inflorescences as numerous as the leaves, few-flowered. Flowers c. 5 cm across. Dorsal sepal oblong-lanceolate, 2.5 cm by 7 mm, keeled, apex acuminate. Mentum as broad as the lateral sepals, rounded, bilobed. Petals ligulate, 2.5 cm by 5 mm, strongly contorted, apex subacute. Lip 3-lobed, strongly revolute, in outline rhombic, 0.8-1 by 0.7-0.8 cm, inside densely covered with papillae, with a thick median basal keel extending to near the middle; lateral lobes oblong, acute, front margin elegantly lobulate and denticulate; midlobe triangular, margins undulate, denticulate, apex acute. Column very short, stelidia large, lobulate, filament very short.

Sepals and petals white, lip yellow in the centre, brownish violet along the margins.
Not known, presumably epiphyte in hill forest. Altitude 650-800 m.
New Guinea (endemic).
Intermediate growing epiphyte.
