Epiphyte, slender, c. 5 cm high. Rhizome short, terete. Roots filiform, elongated, flexuose, glabrous. Pseudobulbs crowded, very small, ovoid, about terete, glabrous, 0.3-0.5 by 0.2-0.3 cm above the base; 1-leaved. Leaves erect, narrowly oblanceolate-ligulate, subobtuse, towards the base gradually narrowed, subpetiolate, subcoriaceous, glabrous, 1.5-5 by 0.5-1 cm above the middle. Inflorescences 1-flowered, slender, filiform, about as long as the leaves, with few sheats. Floral bracts lanceolate, acuminate, somewhat exceeding the ovary. Sepals lanceolate, glabrous, 1.3 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique, up to near the apex connate. Petals obliquely rhomboid-ovate, acuminate, 0.3 by 0.3 cm below the middle; margins very minutely densely ciliate; in front densely papillose punctate. Lip narrowly clawed, lanceolate, acuminate; base on either side minutely auriculate, in the middle with a very small concave callus which is decurrent on a longitudinal median line, margins densely and fairly long ciliate. Column moderately thick, very short; stelidia subulate, ascending; column-foot short for the genus. Ovary subcylindrical, glabrous, short. (After Schlechter, 1905)
