Synonyms:
Epiphyte, 10-14 cm high. Rhizome short. Roots filiform, flexuose, glabrous. Pseudobulbs very small, ovoid-conical, 0.5-0.7 by 0.3-0.45 cm above the base; 1-leaved. Leaf erect, obliquely linear-ligulate, acute, glabrous, 7-13 by 0.5-0.8 cm in the middle; base narrowed into a petiole. Inflorescence 1-flowered, single, short, 0.7 cm long; base with a few small peduncle-scales. Floral bracts very small, much shorter than the very long pedicel. Flower erect. Sepals ligulate, subobtuse. Median sepal outside to the apex papillose, 0.9 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique, c. 1.1 cm long. Petals obliquely ligulate-lanceolate, subobtuse, 0.2 cm long; front margin above the base subangular; margins to the apex irregular. Lip curved, slightly fleshy, ovate, obtuse, 0.3 cm long; basal half on upper side with 2 obtuse thick keels; apical half somewhat narrowed. Column semiterete, glabrous; stelidia obliquely lanceolate, subobtuse, moderately large. Anther oblongoid-cucullate, cordate, with a very large umbo, glabrous. Ovary and pedicel glabrous, c. 3.5 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1913)
Flower whitish. Sepals striped red. Petals with a red stripe and a red spot. Lip spotted red. Column gree.
Epiphyte in montane forest; 2040-2300 m.
