Type: Schlechter 18722 (holo B, lost; iso E)

Epiphytic; slender, to 25 cm high. Rhizome short; roots filiform, glabrous. Pseudobulbs conical, 2-leaved, 0.5-0.7 cm high, near the base 0.3-0.4 cm diam. Leaves suberect, narrowly linear, apex minutely bidentate, gradually somewhat narrowed towards the base, 8-14 cm long, near the middle 0.3-0.5 cm wide. Inflorescence slender, sometimes almost twice as long as the leaves, rather densely many-flowered; peduncle about as long as the leaves. Floral bracts lanceolate, acuminate, as long as the ovary. Flowers very small, glabrous. Sepals ovate, 0.18 cm long. Lateral sepals apiculate, in front dilated. Petals obliquely oblong, obtuse, c. 0.13 cm long. Lip in basal half with an ovate, concave claw; blade crescent-shaped, broadly obtuse, at the base 0.19 cm wide. Column short; clinandrium semiorbicular, overtopping the rostellum. Anther obreniform-cucullate; pollinia obovoid; stipe linear, shorter than the pollinia; viscidium minute. Ovary pedicellate, clavate, 0.4-0.5 cm long.
