Type: Kloss s.n. (Camp 6b, 3900 ft.) (holo BM)
Synonyms:
Rhizome slender, covered with white cataphylls. Pseudobulbs conical, cylindrical, very small 1.5-2 by 0.1-0.3 cm, 2-leaved. Leaves oblanceolate, obtuse, narrowed into a petiole. Inflorescence lateral, 4 cm long, peduncle c. 2 cm long. Flowers secund, crowded. Floral bracts ovate, lanceolate, acuminate, surpassing the ovary. Median sepal oblong, apiculate. Lateral sepals ovate, broadly obtuse; mentum rounded. Petals oblong, rounded, much smaller than the sepals. Lip with oblong, saccate, decurved claw; blade transversely oblong, retuse, with the apex truncate. Column short, broad. Anther broad, ovate. Ovary with pedicel 0.1 cm long.
