Type: Kempf s.n. (Kaiser Wilhelmsland, Waria area) (holo B, lost)

Epiphytic, very slender, decumbent. Roots filiform, flexuose, glabrous. Stems filiform, slender, flexuose, leafy, entirely covered with the leaf-sheaths, hardly more than 0.05 cm diam. Leaves erect-patent, lanceolate-linear, obliquely acuminate, glabrous, 0.45-0.6 cm long, in the middle about 0.08 cm wide. Inflorescence terminal, laxly few-flowered, erect, to 0.6 cm long; peduncle to 0.3 cm long. Floral bracts ovate-lanceolate, acuminate, almost as long as the ovary or a little longer, concave. Flowers glabrous. Sepals ovate, subobtuse, c. 0.15 cm long. Lateral sepals along the front margin strongly dilated; mentum subglobose, c. 0.8 mm diam. Petals-obliquely oblong, obtuse, a little shorter than the sepals. Lip attached above the base (peltate), oblong, in total c. 0.25 cm long, near the middle hardly 0.1 cm wide, at the base bilobulate with retrorse, triangular, obtuse lobules, in apical third somewhat narrowed, apex itself obtuse with a minute point. Column short; rostellum erect, lanceolate-triangular, shortly notched; foot incurved, rather long. Anther ovate-cucullate, acuminate; pollinia obliquely oblanceolate; stipe slender, apex shortly bifid, slightly longer than the pollinia, viscidium very small.
