Epiphyte without leaves, very slender; roots flattened, filiform, flexuose, about 0.1 cm wide, up to 30 cm long. Inflorescence densely 10- to 20-flowered, distichous, including the peduncle up to 2 cm long. Floral bracts deltoid, much shorter than the ovary. Flowers rather small, opening in succession, glabrous. Sepals 0.2 cm long. Median sepal ovate, obtuse. Lateral sepals obliquely and narrowly oblong, obtuse. Petals obliquely ovate, obtuse, almost as long as the sepals. Lip ovate, at the apex with swollen margins, obtuse, in the middle near the base with an oblanceolate concavity; spur ellipsoid, obtuse, 0.13 cm long. Column short, thick; rostellum hammer-shaped. Anther at the base subreniform, linear-rostrate; pollinia obliquely ellipsoid; stipe thin and slender, strongly widened towards the apex; viscidium oblong, rather small.
