Erect, much branched, up to 60 cm high, terrestrial or epiphytic herb. Stems terete, glabrous. Leaf erect-patent, coriaceous, blade glabrous or slightly warty, oblong, oblong-ovate, or elliptic-oblong, 1.8-2.5 by 0.25-0.45 cm, unequally 2-lobed at tip, both lobes obtuse, mid-rib slightly prominent on either side; sheaths scattered warty mainly in apical part, tubular, 0.5-2 cm long, many-ribbed, apical margin with 0.2-0.3 cm long bristles, each rather densely warty. Spathe glabrous, ovoid, up to 1 cm long, acute, ribbed. Floral bract similar to spathe, up to 1.5 cm long, glabrous. Ovary glabrous, cylindrical-clavate, 0.9 cm long, 3-ribbed but each rib composed of 2 narrow ribs. Median sepal glabrous, elliptic-ovate, 1.5 by 0.5 cm, conoid-apiculate, at base 5-nerved, up to 8-nerved in higher part. Lateral sepals glabrous, free, obliquely falcate, ovate-oblong, 1.25 by 0.45 cm, acute, conoid-apiculate, 5-nerved at base, 8-nerved in higher parts, at base ovate-triangular-auricled widened. Petals glabrous, elliptic-ovate, 0.75 by 0.5 cm, wider more towards the middle than the lateral sepals, obtuse, 5-nerved at base, 7-nerved in higher parts. Lip adnate to base of column, free part semi-orbicular, 0.8 by 0.8 cm, obtuse, 7-nerved, glabrous; spur glabrous, clavate, 1.4 by 0.3 cm, rounded, flattened on upper side. Column short and stout, 0.3 by 0.2 by 0.2 cm, clinandrium irregularly dentate. Anther not seen. Capsule not seen.

Terrestrial in upper montane forest in exposed positions. Altitude 3225 m.
